Installing a Themepack is So Easy from Windows 8 Command LineI have downloaded a whole bunch of theme packs from the Windows themepack web site. You can also "Save theme" in Control Panel Personalization. On a new computer, I want to apply all of them at once, without me clicking on each one. So I need to write a script that find all theme packs in a directory and install them. After searching online and reading pages after pages of technical syntax of rundll, control.exe, desk.cpl, and all sorts of cryptic methods, I found that none of them worked on Windows 8. But by dumb luck of typing the file name on the command line, Windows 8 automatically install it. For example, if you have "AncientEgypt.themepack", you just type that and Windows 8 automatically installs and changes Personalization to that theme. This method works great in Windows batch scripts and AutoHotkey scripts as well. You can download Windows themes directly from here: Jake
