Subaru Transmission ChartHi, /Foo, YC - I believe the 06 STI 6 MT transmission code is TY856WW7MA Boxer I have seen this chart on forums for a few years and find it very useful. Thank you for your efforts in compiling these data!! Is there a way for you to get these data from Australian spec transmissions, with full time AWD and the low range gear? I am having a very difficult time getting the data I am looking for regarding those transmissions and would greatly appreciate any help for folks (like you) who may have better sources to those data. Additionally, can you get similar South American Subaru transmission specifications, I think they will be the same as Australia, with the switchable low range gear not found in U.S. AWD Subaru transmission. Thanks mark I see in your chart that an '01 Legecy Outback (US) with a 5 speed has a 3.9 final drive ratio, and an '02 WRX with a 5 speed also has a 3.9 final drive ratio. Is the final drive ratio the rear differential ratio? If not, what are the rear differential ratios of each of those vehicles? I am putting the '02 WRX tranny into an'01 Outback, and need to determine if I have to change the diff. Thanks. Ken Can i swap a ty754vcada for a ty754vcaaa Colin do you kno the ty856uw1ma tranmission gear ratios cems This chart was compiled by my company. We have an updated chart available. However, we request that if you will be using this data on a public forum outside of its original file that you credit our company as the author of the information. RalliSpec Ltd. does a 2005 Impreza RS, have the thicker gears. I think the transmission is TY754Vc4cA. Neal man what a life saver this info has just been,2 diffrent numbers on boxes ending 3aa & 4aa yet all figures are rhe same many many thanks od in my native tounge diolch yn fawr. andy pem anybody give me a better number than vb3aa for a subaru stock gearbox, got a vb4aa as lots of info shows me theyre same box for figures, motor producing circa 300bhp running 17in rims on tarmac rallying in uk. andy pem Just FYI, the 01-02 Outback 5MT (TY755VC2AA) has a 4.11 final drive, not a 3.90 final drive. Source: service manual for the 02 Outback, plus I opened one up and checked. I attached a page from the 2001 Outback manual; the 02 Outback manual says the same thing. Romy I have a 93 impreza wagon L how do i find out my gear ratio its a 1.8 AWD automatic i was told it was a 3.9 Jake Thank you for putting the time in to create this chart. It helped me find the 4:11 transmission that I wanted to put in my 1995 imprezza 1.8L. They come stock with the 3.90 and the 4:11 conversion makes all the difference in the world when it comes to going up hills and take off. anonymous Hi Johan Snyman I opened TY752VBAAA twinturbo gearbox and there was 3,9 final drive. I have antoher TY752VBAAA gearbox also, I will check that one also soon. Raigo Hi, Alex Hello, justin mitchell T.R. is transfer ratio. I updated the chart with acronyms. Mitch Error for 2006-2007 US STI transmission final drive ratio. It is actually 3.545 and not 3.9 like the 04-05 STI. Hence why the 06/07 STI transmissions are typical swaps for wrx owners as they match the R160 diff. Chris anyone know what clutch I can use to replace my stock one? TY753VB1AA Max Bachynsky A chart like this including AUDM & EUDM transmissions would be great. The updated PDF has no low range info! Matt What about the TY754XR1AB duel range manual 5 speed out of a 1999 subaru impreza. Im trying to fimd out the diff ratio but theres nothing. Derek Conroy Hi I have a gearbox ty752vb3da, think its out of an RA , its sitting in a 1997 impreza wrx estate ,could someone tell me if the drive shafts are the same with this gearbox as to the original gearbox,as need 2 driveshafts thanks ⁸ Jeff I have a 2012 Outback with TY756VHCDA 6 speed manual transmission, I found a TY751VHZDA. Thanks much in advance Bill Lawless I have a 2004 non turbo forester. I Pulled the transmission off a 99 legacy GT at a wrecking yard for $420 and the fucking axels are different. Got home to swap and realized they're different. Anybody know if I can put the 99 legacy GT axles on my 2004 forester? I would appreciate any help. A call would be rad too im in panic mode. 661-364-5329 Chris Francis
