Diablo 3: Worth of GoldUpon opening of the Diablo III real currency auction house, gold has been trading at 400K gold for $1. This valuation is based on the "Diablo 3's real-money auction house now trading" article. That is far lower than the original anticipation of 100K for $1, which means Diablo 3 inflation has already started even before the RMAH came to life. Question is, how high will inflation go? Fido I don't know where that article got the numbers. I logged onto the RMAH tonight and search for gold. No one is selling gold! Maybe a bug in the auction house? Fido Screen shot below shows a gold spammer advertising by sending me a gold request. $9 for a million gold pieces. Attached Image: Fido For comparison, I found another gold spam in an old screen shot dated May 30th, 2012. The old gold spam were selling a million gold pieces for $29. And provided power-level service for $149. As you can see, price for gold and power level has dropped dramatically compared to today's rate.
