Diablo III Gold Auction House Minimum Starting Gold

I finally got my first taste of Diablo III. After playing the game for a while, I acquired a number of loot to test the gold auction house. So far, the loot I've acquired can be sold for 2 gold pieces at the merchant. I thought I try to auction them off with a starting gold price of 3. It turned out that the minimum starting bid is 100 gold pieces. And Blizzard charges 15% on it (15 gold pieces, if it sells at 100 gold pieces).

I place 10 auction. I wonder if there is a market for these starting items. Will report back in two days.
