PlanetSide 2 Performance on Asus G74SX-BBK7
Asus G74SX-BBK7 spec: - Intel Core i7-2630QM 2.0GHz - 8GB DDR3 1333 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M (2GB) My gaming setup: - 24" LED monitor at 1920x1080 resolution - Secondary LCD monitor at 1024x768 resolution - Razer Naga MMOG Laser Gaming Mouse - Nostromo n50 programmable controller - Gyration wireless keyboard I set PlanetSide 2 graphics setting to "Low", as shown in screen shot below, for everything to maximize frames per second (FPS). I was able to squeeze out around 30 FPS in dense bases (bio-dome) and 50 FPS in wide open area. The game is quite playable on this laptop in this manner. Attached Image:
