Fantom Drives 500 GB Titanium II External USB 2 0 Hard Disk Drive

I just bought that same hard drive, model number is TFD500U16.

And when I opened it, I saw this generic hard drive and it was not a SATA, but a IDE instead...

So lucky you.. I wondering how much you payed for yours? I got mine for $79.99

If I remember correctly, I bought mine for $120. But that was back in July/August of last year. It's hard to compare prices when hard drive prices drop all the time. Just yesterday, I saw an internal 1TB SATA Hard Drive for $139.95. So . . . is the comparison really valid?
