It's insufficient to program just the four directions. It requires separate programming for the diagonal directions.
I do not understand what you mean. Of course I said that the N50 was a 4 direction pad (it is a fake 8 direction pad), that's because it is its internal structure.
Ok, I think the directional pad issue is an user error.
Oh by the way, the Belkin software and the Total Game Control software allows you to program just the four directions. If you leave the diagonal directions blank, they will interpolate the diagonal directions. So your character in the game will move diagonally, even though those buttons aren't programmed.
It's worth considering. I don't know if that is necessary a good or bad thing. And not sure if it is a good idea for this project or not.
