Dawn of War - Dark Crusade: Error Loading Module

I have just installed Dawn of War, Winter Assault, and Dark Crusade. I've picked up this Platinum Edition a week ago at the local Target for a good price. Have been a Warhammer 40K fan for a long time, I'd love to be able to command Imperial Guards, Tau, and Necrons in an epic battle. But as soon as I tried to run Dark Crusade on my computer I got the following error message! What kind of amateur game is this!?

Error loading C:\DOCUM~1\Medusa\dlltie.dll

The specified module could not be found.

Ok, the only way to get Dark Crusade to work is to launch it from the DVD-ROM autorun. You have to click on the "Play Dark Crusade" button (see screen shot of the launcher below).

Ok, I figured it out. DllTie.dll is located in the same directory that Dark Crusade is installed in ("C:\Program Files\THQ\DarkCrusade"). But the Dark Crusade shortcut that the installation program created in the start menu is missing the "Start in:" directory. Just add the directory to the shortcut and everything will work.

YOU SAID: But the Dark Crusade shortcut that the installation program created in the start menu is missing the "Start in:" directory. Just add the directory to the shortcut and everything will work.

Yeah, but how do you add the directory?

Right click on the short-cut in the Start menu. Then click on "Properties". Just fill in the text field titled "Start in:" and click the "OK" button.

Thx. Just went back to play this game after months and picked up this same error. Never noticed it before when I played through the first time. Bet I had the DVD in the drive.

Thank you for this post! I ran into this problem recently and was not able to find a fix (seemed like I couldn't find anything anywhere). I really appreciate your help!
