Hellgate: London - Installation and Account Creation Mix-Up

I have been having a lot of fun playing Hellgate: London on my desktop gaming computer. So tonight, I wanted to install it on my notebook computer as well to play it on trips and when I'm not at home. So I went through the entire installation prompts until I got to the Account Creation Details screen (see screen shot below). It didn't give me an option to skip the account creation; after all, I had already created my account. I kept pushing different buttons and links on that page. Nothing got me anywhere.

That is, until I got to the scrollbar on the right (noticed the scroll bar?). If you scroll down, you'll see the following message:

"Hellgate: London continues installing while you make your online account. Do not quit out of the installer until your game installation has completed."

So account creation is optional. The blue progress bar shows the installation process. It was just moving so slowly on my notebook computer that I didn't know it's actually installing the game.

Once you get to this screen, you just wait till the installation finishes. There is nothing else that you need to do. Good thing I know that now.

heyy i made an account then i never played the game after i installed it soo i forgot it howw can i fix this ?

Your best bet is to generate a new account. If you know the e-mail address you used, you may be able to recover it that way.

The US Hellgate London Servers have been shut down since the end of February. Flagship studios shutdown and Bandai Namco aren't letting anyone else try to support the game. It's only playable in Korea right now.

Is it possible to still play single player? Anyone tried it yet. I would find it really lame if we paid fifty bucks for the game and can't even play single player version.

Yes, single player is working, don't forget to patch to 1.2 version, it fixes a lot of bugs. If you encounter the "can't leave starting area" bug, then reinstall with the patch from fileplanet, there is a bugged patch around too.
