Left 4 Dead - Blood Hospital Campaign is a Must Play

Last night, my friend and I downloaded a new campaign for Left 4 Dead. Instead of getting a campaign with the standard five maps, we decided to go with a three map campaign called, "Blood Hospital". We thought with only three maps, we can get a taste of custom maps and finish it quickly in one night.

We were wrong. Each of the maps were huge with tough challenges. The first map was completely dark, therefore extremely spooky. Having two of us helped, but the spookiness never lessened. Being in the dark meant we had to travel slow and carefully, feeling our way though the concrete maze. By the third map, we were quite exhausted, as if we were really there in the infested hospital. And with just two of us, we couldn't survive the horde.

Finally, we were able to enlist one more friend who got us past the first horde on the last map. But even with three real players, we couldn't defeat the last horde. We'll have to enlist one more friend.

Blood Hospital is really a map for thinkers. It's a real refreshment from the standard shoot-and-do single path campaign that is delivered with Left 4 Dead. The hospital has quite a few paths that can make you and your friends wonder around and hit an zombie ambush. You'll definitely want to gather up your friends before wondering in this horrifying hospital.
