Left 4 Dead - Hospital Rooftop is Extremely Deadly

My friend and I have just spent all night trying to pass the Mercy Hospital rooftop map. It's extremely difficult to say the least. At first we had a hard time taking down the Tank that came after the first zombie horde. Finally we figured out a way to eliminate the Tank with just the two of us left. Without the two computer player's help, we just can't pass the second zombie horde, after taking down the tank. The molotov bottles and pipe-bombs are always quite a distance from our reach. Is anyone else having trouble with this map? What do you do to get around it?

Clarification: The difficulty level was set to "Advanced". I can only imagine how hellish it would be to play that on "Expert".

after playing through the game chieh and I realized that you cannot pass the map without someone manning the minigun that is setup on the radio building's rooftop

Erick! These guys survived the Mercy Hospital rooftop finale on expert mode by barracking in the closet and using the molatovs on the tank!

Im stuck on this level but on Expert :( the AI is just to stupid to survive and I don't have anyone to help me so any idea's?

Have you tried the barracking yourself and your teammates in the closet trick? I wonder
how well the AI will do in that arrangement. Maybe playing with other folks online . . .

Oh, expert mode is extremely hard. Even with real players it's difficult to pass the roof-top finale. We also have a low success rate finishing the game in that mode. So don't feel too bad.
