PlanetSide 2: Enemy Vehicle is Immune to Repair Tool

In Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (BFBC2), you can destroy enemy vehicle with the engineer repair tool. It brings another level of tactics to the game. As much as I want PlanetSide 2 to be a replacement for BFBC2, it's just not going to happen, because you can't destroy enemy vehicles with the engineer repair tool. So if you see an enemy Sunderer around as an engineer, all you can do is call in re-enforcements, since your gun isn't going to do any damage to it.

The following video shows that the repair tool doesn't do any damage to an enemy ATV.

While we are on this topic, here is a video demonstration of how many clips of ammo the default VS engineer carbine take to destroy an enemy ATV.
