PlanetSide 2: M40 Fury is Quite Useful on the Sunderer

Last week, I wanted to buy the M40 Fury grenade launcher for the ATV. After all, the ATV doesn't come with any weapons at all. But I didn't realized that the same name is used for different vehicles. Accidentally, I purchased the M40 Fury for the Sunderer instead. Nevertheless, I tried it out on the Sunderer and it turned out to be very useful.

You see, the standard issue M20 Basilisk is excellent at shooting armored tanks and planes. But it doesn't have close-range infantry killing capability. Once an infantry, with C4, gets close to the Sunderer, it's as good as dead. But the M40 Fury grenade launcher actually has a short range. It can hit things that are close to the Sunderer.

I parked the Sunderer by a generator housing one night. The enemy infiltrators and other personnel kept creeping up to the building. They didn't realized the damage that the M40 Fury can do to close-range infantries. As they kept running in and out of the building, I just kept blowing them up. They had a difficult time getting close to the Sunderer as well. It was also very useful against the invisible infiltrators, because it does splash damage.

That's actually a video of the M60 Bulldog. The M40 Fury is the 40mm Grenade launcher for anti vehicle and anti personnel.
