Uninstalling "RACE 07 Demo" and "RACE On - DEMO"

Two demos that won't go away in my Steam account . . . despite the fact that I right-clicked on them and selected "Delete Local Content...". So I exited from Steam, attempted to find the local files myself, but still can't find them. I restarted Steam and these two games are still on the list. I'm lost at how to uninstall these games.
