Installing FTP Daemon on Ubuntu

Today, I needed the FTP daemon, for a very similar reason why I needed the Telnet Daemon in the "Installing Telnet Daemon on Ubuntu" article. Once you have the Telnet Daemon and the Internet Superserver sat-up, installing the FTP daemon is easy. If you haven't sat-up the Internet Superserver yet, see the article that I just mentioned.

Otherwise, all you have to do is type the following command. It turns out that you don't have to restart anything. FTP daemon will start itself after you issue the command.

sudo apt-get install ftpd
