What's the bot for TagCloud? So I have implemented TagCloud on this web site for many weeks now. You can see it here. It's really quite interesting to see the keywords that TagCloud generated for this web site. But so far, I haven't figured out when TagCloud retrieves the RSS.xml file from this site. I've looked through the log file, but didn't see anything resembling the TagCloud bot. Does anyone know the name that TagCloud uses for its bot? Chieh Cheng Ok, this morning, I had a brilliant idea of looking at the logs of a new web service that I started up, called Talk. Because Talk is a new web service, hardly anyone has even ventured onto it. So there are few bots crawling the RSS.xml. It seems that TagCloud hasn't named its bot yet. It is still using the name from MagpieRSS: 209.235.255.34 - - [16/Aug/2005:09:33:14 -0700] "GET /Forums/Latest/RSS.xml HTTP/1.0" 200 6890 "-" "MagpieRSS/0.7 (+http://magpierss.sf.net)" Let me know if you could confirm this is the bot from TagCloud knocking on the door. Chieh Cheng
