Ultra 3.5" Mini Portable USB 2.0 / Firewire External Hard Drive Enclosure

is it really work with camcorder? can you record live to it so we dont have to capture the dv tapes into computer? what file it uses? mov?

I think it depends on the camcorder. If you have a consumer camcorder, then you probably still need a computer to do the transfer between the hard drive and the hard drive. On the other hand, if you have some professional equipment that can write directly to a Firewire hard drive, then you can bypass the computer.

I have one of these little units and have misplaced the ac adapter. I have looked all over the box, the internet, and everywehre else i can think of for the power specs for this thing. Can anyone tell me what type of ac adapter to use for this unit. I have lots of old ac adapter (walwarts), but not idea of which on goes with this unit.
