Optimus Black Coming to Virgin Mobile USA?

There's now a rumor stating the Optimus Black is coming to virgin mobile as well. Google "optimus black virgin mobile" for more.

probably...having said that, even if the black has a bigger battery, it's probably not enough (according to the review)...I would go with the cheaper one and carry around an extra battery on days when you think you might need it.

This is one area google has to work on with handset manufacturers. iPhone 4's battery capacity is rated in the same ball park as the optimus v, triumph and optimus black, but lasts much longer.

Having long battery life is great. But for business needs, where you are tethering your computing devices to your phone, nothing beats the ability to change batteries. Back when I had the A900M, I used to carry around 2 normal batteries and 2 extended batteries when I travel. It ensures that I have more than enough battery life whereever I am.

Sometime getting to a wall socket is just not an option. Other times, I might forget to plug my phone into the socket. Having to look for a wall socket too hard while on vacation kind of defeats the purpose of the being on vacation in the first place.

Personally, I want all the options available to me:

1. Be able to charge via USB.
2. Be able to change batteries at will
3. Long battery life.

If you can't have it all, then you have to weigh the benefit of each. The more options the better.

i am not saying to choose between longer battery life and the ability to change battery.

i want both, but android phones' battery life is pretty bad, even with the use of apps like juice defender.

both optimus black and motorola triumph have pretty similar specs... the optimus black is lighter and has a better display.

It sounds like it'll be a while before LG Optimus Black will come on the market. I suspect at of the year like the LG Optimus V. It might be worthwhile to get the Motorola Triumph first.

it's just stronger glasses and less prone to scratches.

I think the processor in the black has better GPU too. but it's LG...their G2X got yanked from T-Mobile for a while, not sure about quality. Black also has a larger battery as well.
