DeWALT 20V MAX Power Tools Battery Interface

The 'TH' pin is the thermistor, that is, a temperature-sensitive resistance that enables the tool to cut off the power to save the battery from overheating.

From other post I read as well as tested myself that resistance is different between B- and ID. Tools are able to identify which battery is connected to it.
Hope this helps.

Title: Parallel DeWALT 20V Batteries for Drill-Powered Go Kart
Weblog: GearHack
Excerpt: Could anyone please help me out here, I have made a drill powered go kart and wanted to adapt it to take two batteries in parallel but not sure how essential it is or even how I'd transfer both sets of middle pins?
