Idrive arm Locked before door is closed

I have a idrive for Torsion springs ( not the pro). The locking arm is getting stuck between door panels & wall before the door can fully close. When we use the cable release for manual mode, the door opens & closes fine. I've tried pressing the program button for 5 seconds. I've tried continuously holding wall wall up/down switch as it lowers. I have searched online for hours & have found no answers for this problem, please help. Thank you in advance.

See the instruction manual on how to adjust detent; section "Adjusting Detent" on page 21-22.

It sounds to me that, in your case, the arm is coming down too early. Adjust it so that the arm comes down later. Or adjust it so the arm stay locked in the up position.
