Programming the idrive Garage Door Opener

I purchased a house 2 months ago equipped with a Wayne-Dalton idrive garage door opener. I've had several problems with it, each different from the last. the current problem comes after I programmed the upper limits in accordance with the owner's manual. the door does not appear to have a lower limit. it bangs into the floor too hard, and goes back up again before the arm can drop down.

is there a way to program the lower limit?

You will have to profile the garage door opener. After you do so, the idrive will know the upper and lower limit.
