I have an I drive garage door that will beep, but not open. My dauaghter was messing with buttons on the inside key pad one night, then it would not close. Any ideas how to fix?

Perhaps it just need to be re-profiled. Press the profile button for five seconds to start the process. I think that is the last button on the button pad.

Do you have any indication whether the button pad is communicating with the idrive? If not, they your daughter may have erased the "link". I don't remember exactly how to re-establish the connection, but it's something like pushing the red button on the idrive and then pushing one of the buttons on the button pad.

Of course, the instruction manual explains how to do both of the situations described here, which you can download on this site.

If you hear two beeps from the idrive, but it doesn't attempt to open/close the garage door, then it has lost its profile. Simply profile the idrive (using the profile button on the wall controller).

However, if you press the profile button for five seconds, but the idrive beeps twice and doesn't attempt to open/close the door, then the obstruction sensors are not aligned (no light). Align the obstruction sensors. Once they are aligned, profile the idrive.
