android garage door opener

See a bit of an overkill . . .
Pressing a button on a small remote seems pretty easy already.

And a proximity sensor hardwired to the garage door opener seems easy too. Then you can get your computer, your wireless network, and a bunch of other interfaces out of the loop. That's probably better than tying yourself to a specific phone technology, in case you change your mind.

Does a garage door opener really need to get that complicated?
