Make Your Own Tamiya and Mini Tamiya Adapter
For a long time, Tamiya had been the standard used on R/C vehicles. But recently, the Mini Tamiya connector, its smaller sibling, appeared on the scene. The Mini Tamiya connector is exactly the same as its older brother, only smaller in size. With both connectors in use within the replica hobby world, adapters became highly necessary.

Tamiya Male to Mini Tamiya Female
This adapter is used to connect a battery with a standard size female Tamiya connector to a device (airsoft guns, R/C cars, etc.) with a male Mini Tamiya connector. The photo below shows the sequence of connection from the battery to an metal gearbox of a airsoft gun. Notice that the wires on the connector has to be swapped in order to connect the battery to the device correctly.
Tamiya Female to Mini Tamiya Male
This adapter is used to connect a battery with a female Mini Tamiya connector to a battery charger with a male Tamiya connector. Tamiya to Alligator Clips
Tamiya connectors with alligator clips can be really handy. You can use them to test your hobby with different types of batteries. The alligator clips can clip to various battery holders, etc. It's also great for prototyping your projects.
