Killing Floor Sharpshooter Tips

Killing Floor is free to play this weekend; started yesterday. So I've played it a bit. And, of course, I choose the sharpshooter class. Here are some tips I learned while playing the game for about two hours.

Reloading an empty Lever-Action Rifle takes quite a while. Avoid running out of bullets. Try to reload between intense actions.

Reloading a handgun is faster tan a Lever-Action Rifle. Switch to handgun when your team is being over-run.

The crossbow has a maximum capacity of 40 arrows and you must reload after every arrow. Refrain from using it when there are enemies nearby.

Don't stay in one place. That allows multiple groups of enemies to converge on you. Move toward the merchant (follow the arrow) as you take down each group of zombies/specimen.

There are special conditions for leveling up; not just by killing monsters. You must look at the perk sheet for your class to determine how to advance to the next level. For example, to get to the first level, you have to perform 30 head shots.

But in reality, Killing Floor started off as a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004, dated back to 2005. Left 4 Dead, on the other hand, was released in 2008. Perhaps, after the publicity of Left 4 De . . .
