PlanetSide 2: Tank Killing with Teamwork in a Sunderer

This past week, I found that the Sunderer is quite a threat to tanks. The first time I parked in a valley, an enemy tank drove to the ledge overseeing the Sunderer. It was only able to get two shots on the Sunderer. Once it's at the ledge, it couldn't lower its cannon enough to fire at my Sunderer. The rapid firing M20 Basilisk cannon on the Sunderer reduced the tank's health rather quickly. By the time the tank pilot figured it out and tried to move away, it was too late. Two more shots after that and the tank exploded.

Last night, we had a three members pre-made squad in a Sunderer. One drove while the other two manned the M20 Basilisk cannons each. An enemy tank rolled toward us from opposite direction. With the experience I had before, we shelled the enemy tank with both cannons. The enemy pilot realized it had no chance against our two cannons attempted to drive away. We chased it down quickly.

Lesson learned: if you have a fully manned Sunderer with two cannons on it, don't run from the tank, kill it. Obviously, it won't work too well against a platoon of tanks. But 1v1, the Sunderer has an upper hand when fully manned.
