No SVG for Facebook Yet

Just noticed today that Facebook doesn't support Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) yet. SVG is a vector graphic format that can handle interactivity, animation, and 2D graphics. It's format is XML-based and can be easy parsed. The graphic to the right of this article is SVG.

SVG is already supported by many browser. If you are using a recent Firefox, like I am now, you can already see the SVG graphic in this article.

But I noticed that Facebook doesn't support SVG yet. When I submit articles containing SVG to my Facebook status, they don't show up, so I can't select them to represent the link. Will Facebook ever support SVG?
