Getting the Microsoft Store to Work AgainMicrosoft Store hadn't worked ever since I gave my wife her new Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows 8. It failed to launchevery time. When I restored her user data it broke Microsoft Store. So when Windows 8.1 came out and required the upgrade to be done through Microsoft Store, I had to think of something. The solution was to create another Windows 8 administrator account on her laptop. Windows 8 created the account successfully. Using the new account, I was able to launch the Microsoft Store and upgrade to Windows 8.1. Windows 8.1 also refreshed her existing account. So after the upgrade, I switched back to her existing account. Now, Microsoft Store launches even on her account. Problem solved. Jake
