Logitech G HUB Installer Won't Launch

So I got the Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse over Black Friday for a great deal. But when I tried to install the Logitech G HUB software on my gaming laptop, the installer won't start. Double-clicking on the installer causes a spinning point for a few seconds. Then nothing happens.

I tried it on a different laptop and it installs fine.

After fussing around without success, I found that you can download the older Logitech Gaming Software from the same support page:

Logitech Gaming Software installs fine without any problems. It works with the G600 gaming mouse. I have found that this older software is much more intuitive to use than the Logitech G HUB.

I finally figured out the problem by chance. While attempting to install Inkscape, the installed said that Adobe Reader DC installer did not shut down completely. I accepted it's offer to clean out the partial installation. But even after that, Logitech G HUB installer still wouldn't launch.

But it had given me a hunch. In Windows Task Manager, I found the "Windows installer" and "Windows installer (32-bit)" processes. I ended both processes and viola! Logitech G HUB installer launched and I was able to install it.

It's happening again on my freshly wiped Windows 11 gaming laptop. Logitech G HUB installer wont launch again. But this time, there is no "Windows installer" processes in Task Manager.

I was trying to install version 2022.02.18. So I went to Logitech G HUB download site to get version 2022.5.263319 that was released on 2022-05-11. But it didn't launch either.
